“Wearing Brooks shoes gives me confidence and helps me improve my running form”

Roxy first joined 26 Coaching at the age of eleven and is the youngest of the three Wright sisters. On the track, she recently broke the U14 1500m record, taking it off her sister Cade who held it at Roxy’s age. Whilst for the most part she competes in a different age category to her sisters, she completed the podium alongside her siblings by taking third place in the 2018 Cross Country Championships.

In triathlon, she is a member of the Hong Kong Triathlon National Squad and competes in the youth open category. She will compete in the Triathlon Asian Championships in Korea in June 2019.

Goals

On the track, my aim is to improve my 800m and 1500m PBs and to represent Hong Kong in overseas races.

In triathlon, I will continue to race in the youth open category and look to gain more experience in readiness for moving up to the Junior category with an aim to race ITU events.
