Compressport: Ironman World Championp

For those who have not followed the action that took place on the weekend at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii:

Fred Van Lierde, Compressport athlete, has won the biggest triathlon on the planet: Ironman Hawaii!

This is one of the biggest moment in Compressport history. Compressport is only 5 years old and started in 2008 at the Ironman in France.

Seeing the company's product 5 years later on an athlete winning the biggest race on the planet means a very big deal.

Compressport is establishing itself even more than before as a reference and leader in the compression market.

Compressport is recognized as an outstanding quality product worn by some of the best athletes around the world.

GRAY-NICOLLS Season Review

Another season passes and once again Gray-Nicolls can boast an impressive summer. A magnificent 81 centuries this summer in all domestic cricket were scored with a Gray-Nicolls bat, a total no other brand can match. England T20 star Luke Wright scored six alone. Varun Chopra, Ned Eckersley, Michael Klinger and James Taylor all passed three figures five times.

In Division One, England Lions opening batsman Sam Robson lead the way with 1180 runs. Chris Nash, Chopra and Nick Compton all passed 1000 runs. 18 year old Dominic Sibley posted our highest score of 242, setting the record for the youngest player to make a double century in County Championship history. Durham's Phil Mustard was the leading Wicket Keeper with 65 dismissals.

James Foster with 48 First Class dismissals behind the stumps for Essex

In pision Two, Ned Eckersley was second in the run charts with 1275 runs. Jaik Mickleburgh posted Gray-Nicolls highest score with 248 and his Essex teammate James Foster completed 48 dismissals.

YB40 competition was favoured by Gray-Nicolls big hitters. The top three run scorers all used Gray-Nicolls with Pete Trego 745,Klinger 702, Taylor 585 in untouchable form. Trego picked up the YB40 player of season award at last night's PCA Awards dinner. Luke Wright smashed 20 sixes in the competition and Gareth Cross led the Keepers with 17 dismissals.
