Another month at Gilbert...

New Season, New Beginnings

Gilbert Rugby are delighted to be the new official ball supplier of Guinness Pro14 Rugby, having signed a long-term deal.

It is a hugely exciting time for the newly expanded competition, with the Cheetahs and Kings coming on board from South Africa. It is also fantastic to see the Gilbert brand alongside the Guinness logo on the balls, a brand that is absolutely synonymous with rugby.

The deal means that Gilbert are now the official ball for every major domestic league in Europe, along with Super Rugby in the Southern Hemisphere.

Headguard visibility at Rugby Championship

It has been fantastic to see the Gilbert Headguards getting on-field coverage in the Rugby Championship as Argentina and Australia went head-to-head, with both Matias Alemanno and Adam Coleman looking great in black and green (aside from this minor scuffle!)

And on a slightly different note, Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson wore a Gilbert headguard in their Champions League match against Feyenoord. The goalie suffered a head injury in a Premier League match, and the Gilbert headguard was the obvious choice.

Colombia Coverage

Great work in Colombia by Lucas, getting some brilliant coverage of Gilbert on television.

A Gilbert TV advert aired, in-game ball and advert coverage was strong, and in the studio the ball was heavily represented front and center. Fantastic!

Most Popular Boots Ever

Gilbert's new range of rugby boots are proving to be our most popular ever. The eye-catching Evolution and Ignite pairs have captured the imagination and will be adorning the feet of many club players this season, while Gilbert boots continue to be worn internationally by Jake Ball and Sean Cronin this autumn.

School is in session

September means back to school, which also means schools rugby is back!
There have already been some brilliant matches involving Gilbert kit-wearing schools, including two "Gilbert Derbies".

Kings School, Macclesfield hosted Rugby School, while a week later Kings once again faced a team in Gilbert in Lancaster Royal Grammar School.

We are sure you'll agree that sets of kit below look superb.

Great Service for up and running Dragons!

We are delighted to be continuing our relationship as the official kit supplier of the newly rebranded Dragons Rugby.

A new order for playing and replica kit was made following the new logo and kit design, and all shirts were delivered in time for the start of the season following a July sign-off date.

This was an outstanding achievement from the whole team.

Women's Rugby World Cup Success

We are sure that everyone will agree that the recent Women's RWC2017 was a huge success over in Ireland. A very entertaining and well organised tournament culminated in triumph for New Zealand over England.

It's an honour to be involved with the tournament and we're already making plans for 2021, when we'll be doing our best to get even more eyeballs on the event.
