Dear ABA Friends,

January brought significant coverage for Brooks in the first month of 2018! Some of our global highlights are listed below. The full deck can be viewed on InsideTrack or via the attached PDF.


  • Fortune featured a signature story about Brooks' efforts to bring personalized running shoes to market, highlighting the company as an industry innovator. Coverage of Brooks' personalized footwear also appeared in Running Insight and VAMP.
  • New York Times included a story, both online and in print, featuring the Brooks Running 2017 holiday catalog and the stories of Peter Kline, Black Girls Run, and Gabe Grunewald.
  • Women's Health writer Marissa Gainsburg wrote a feature on the Brooks UpLift Crossback, praising it for support, comfort, and shape.


  • In France, the Levitate received a great review in Tier 1 media RUN MAGAZINE. In a marathon related test of serveral running shoes, the Levitate was elected "Best pair to run a ​​​marathon in," the article stated that is "the perfect shoe between dynamism and comfort."
  • Munich, Germany hosted ISPO 2018 in January, and video coverage was included on the well-known German morning show “Morgenmagazi.”
  • In the UK, a Women’s Health review showcased the great quality of the Brooks UpLift Crossback bra. This publication reached approximately 500,000 women and raised the profile of the Brooks brand with a new consumer.


  • Argentina is in their first year of business and the brand is getting introduced to runners via plenty of publicity from our athletes/ambassadors, as well as continuous product in Runner's World Argentina.
  • Australia's own Kayla Itsines was featured on Good Morning America sporting a fresh pair of Ghost 10s!
  • Hong Kong is a hotbed for trail-running (no joke), so reviews of Caldera are sure to drive sales.
  • Taiwan continues to gain placement across styles and categories, including several apparel stories.
